History

In 1985 Gianfranco Giacomin based on his resourcefulness and well established expertise in the tool sector and mechanical processing, founded Lames Srl. At the beginning, the company worked exclusively as mechanical processing subcontractor. Later on, Lames enlarged its business by insourcing the different processing steps as tool design, manufacture, assembly and try-out.
The technical know-how acquired over the years enables Lames to grow into different sectors: household & appliance, automotive, transport, scaffolding, furnishing, lightning, heating, gardening and agriculture.

In 2005 Lames expands its production’s site carrying out substantial investments to enlarge its machinery park.

In 2013 Lames entered the Brasilian market founding “Lames Do Brasil” in São Paolo to strengthen its presence by the leading representatives in the automotive industry.

More than 30 years after its foundation, Lames is still focusing on achieving further goals in technology and in new markets to be entered, both in Europe and in overseas countries.

QUALITY AND CERTIFICATION

The end product quality test is carried out through a sensing system. The results are issued in a measuring report to be delivered to the custumer.

Technical department

Our technical dept. fully meets customer requirements resulting from prior experience over the years, continous up to date and learning as a result of the development of innovative designing technologies.

Machining

Our workshop is equipped with machines providing accurate milling, drilling and turning processing, using data and machining programs of our CAD-CAM department.

Assembling and try-out

Assembling, set-up and try-out are the main final manufacturing steps to be performed to deliver the highest quality production parts.

Quality
